Qualification Overview

This award equips learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to provide basic life support and manage anaphylactic reactions in emergency situations.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this qualification, learners will be able to:

• Perform basic life support (CPR) effectively
• Identify signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
• Administer adrenaline using an auto-injector
• Manage an casualty after an allergic reaction

Entry Requirements

• Min 16 years of age
• Physically able to perform CPR on a manikin
• No specific prior qualifications required
